He is an experienced leader and visionary who effectively combines scientific knowledge with innovative business solutions across multiple therapeutic areas. He specializes in implementing innovative therapies, business transformations, and building effective teams that achieve strategic goals.
A biologist by training, he holds a doctorate in medical sciences and postgraduate studies in advertising psychology, combining clinical expertise with a management perspective.
He has experience in creating and implementing commercial strategies in Polish and international markets.
As President of the Management Board of Synthaverse, he is responsible for the company's strategic direction, the company's commercial direction, the development of the product portfolio, and relations with key stakeholders, strengthening Synthaverse's position in the pharmaceutical market.
Jakub Winkler is a manager and legal counsel with over ten years of experience in strategic project management and organizational transformation within the pharmaceutical sector.
He specializes in commercial and corporate law, M&A transactions, raising equity and debt financing, investor relations, restructuring, and change management. He has extensive experience in leading complex projects that integrate legal, business, and operational aspects.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and the Executive MBA program at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He completed a lawyer's apprenticeship and currently practices as a legal counsel.
He has been associated with Synthaverse since 2014. Prior to his appointment to the Management Board, he headed the Company's Legal Department and ran his own law firm.
As a Member of the Management Board of Synthaverse, he is responsible for the Company's organizational and legal areas, as well as supervising operational activities, quality, infrastructure, administration, human resources, and communication. He also supports the implementation of strategic development projects and the business transformation of the Company.
Dariusz Kucowicz is a manager with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, encompassing corporate management, business development, and ownership supervision over companies operating in the healthcare market.
He specializes in managing the finances and capital structure of enterprises, organizational development, and investment project implementation. He has extensive experience managing pharmaceutical distribution companies and serving on the supervisory boards of commercial law companies.
A graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. In 1991, he founded Medicare, one of the first private pharmaceutical wholesalers in Poland, which he developed over many years as President of the Management Board. He has also held management and supervisory positions in healthcare companies, including Medicare-Galenica, Max Medicum, the Organization of Polish Pharmaceutical Distributors, and the Investcare S.A. Pharmaceutical Group.
He has been associated with Synthaverse since 2008. From 2008 to 2025, he served on the Company's Supervisory Board, including as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and as a Management Board Member for Development in 2016 and 2017. Since 2026, he has been a member of the Management Board, responsible for finance and capital structure. Together with his affiliated companies, Dariusz Kucowicz currently holds the largest stake in Synthaverse S.A.
As a Member of the Management Board of Synthaverse, he is responsible for the company's financial policy, capital structure management, and supports the implementation of strategic investment and development projects.
