The Synthaverse team wouldn’t miss the largest event in the pharmaceutical world - the CPHI Worldwide fair in Barcelona.
We took part in extremely interesting meetings with participants of the international fair in Barcelona. The event was very successful.
Syntahverse’s stand was visited by many guests interested in our products from the following categories:
– oncological (BCG therapy for bladder cancer);
– gynecological (streptokinase + streptodornase and immunotherapy of serological conflict);
– BCG vaccines against tuberculosis.
What were the meetings in Barcelona about and what questions did the visitors ask?
‘During these three days, we had the opportunity to talk to people from every continent. Potential contractors were looking for new solutions that would support, among others: treatment of oncological diseases. They asked about drugs that could be competitive with those currently available in their regions,’ explains Magdalena Sierocka, Head of International Commercial at Synthaverse.
Why so much interest?
Synthaverse offers niche medicinal products. Mostly life-saving hospital drugs, whose shortages tend to affect foreign markets.
‘Synthaverse produces biotechnological drugs. Their production process is very complicated and long-lasting, compared to the production of, for example, generic drugs. Globally, there are only a few companies with similar know-how and products. Our contractors are aware of these advantages, hence the interest,’ adds Magdalena Sierocka.
Contacts obtained during the fair are of great value. Thanks to them, we can exchange business information about various markets and current therapies. Many conversations lead to the signing of further contracts for the supply of medicines.
